The Doctor Rides Again!
Domenic, Dylan, and Harpoon have been dotting the I's and crossing the T's on Harpoon's freshly rebuilt and now FULL SHOW panhead! Tonight it is basically done and ready to start breaking it in. Can't wait to ride next to this bike again on my Shovelhead, like old times!

$20 Paintjob Poster Prize!!!!!
Ok Folks, here is the deal:
There are 100 of these 18x24" posters that will be rolled up in 100 individual tubes.
This poster is of Chris Broders 1949 Chevy Kustom, built by Circle City Hot Rods and painted by yours truly.
In one of these tubes a "golden ticket" will be placed and the whole batched mixed up before any address label is attached.
All tubes will be mailed out simultaneously on the same day via USPS priority mail.
What does the golden ticket get you? It gets you this Lowbrow Customs Peanut Tank and Ribbed Fender that I have painted with a tangerine "pebbeled" Murano Pearl base and a modern type yellow pearl kabuki scallop design.
This is a brand new tank and fender folks, with a brand new paintjob!
(and if you don't like the paintjob, and sandblast it, I wont be offended, this is still a hell of a deal for a brand new tank and fender!)
But wait there's more, "a sorry bud, nice try" voucher will be placed in one more tube that will be good for a t-shirt and one of our "hood-lite" cast aluminum license plate and tail-light bracket.
Now you gotta be asking yourself, whats the deal?
The deal is $20.00 for one tubed poster (plus shipping) in the USA and perhaps this tank and fender will be yours!
(that's like 1% of the real cost of a decent paintjob!)
However, this offer is good until next Monday July 28th. All sales will stop at midnight and all tubed posters will be shipped by noon on Tuesday July 29th.
go here for yours today
Thank you!
Harpoon

What is it all about?
People do all kinds of things for as many reasons, but why motorcycles?
Living legend Tom Fugle tells the story about his life long passion of choppers in this video we had Scott Pommier shoot for Born-Free. I've watched about 8 times so far and I still get a choked up because you know this man is true. You know he loves what he does.
I'll be away from the computer (not that we're here much as it is!) for the rest of the week getting Born-Free ready, but couldn't think of a better way to leave you. DO what you love for yourself. Do what you want to because you love it. The rest will come and go as they search for what makes them happy.

Born-Free 6...2 weeks AWAY!!!
Kinda scary and exciting, but there is basically two weeks left until Born-Free 6! We've made a few changes to the format this year to try and harness all the craziness of last year's event. In case you've had your head in the sand the pat 12 months the show will be two days this year for the first time (June 28 and 29) and there is also an admission each day. IT's just $10 and you can get a Fast Pass wristband online from Lowbrow Customs HERE for those that want to RIDE their bike into the show and have a place to park! The show fills up fast each year and we came up with this idea to help guarantee a spot for those that really want their bikes inside, not just for anyone wandering up the canyon. Online Sales end this Monday so don't wait!!! Otherwise you may be parking out in the lot with the cars.
There are also lots of giveaways again including TWO bikes! Your choice of about 12 of the Invited Builder bikes on Saturday and a Killer '47 Knucklehead built by Small City Cycles' Todd Asin on Sunday, plus Miller TIG and Mig welders and more! CLICK HERE to enter. We've made every effort to make this year the best one yet!
For all the info and more please check out the recently built new website www.bornfreeshow.com and be sure to also spend some time on the Born-Free Show Youtube channel for tons of videos from this year all the way back to the beginning.

Our friends over at BLENDS are doing another limited edition Vans shoe and for some reason wanted to use this fat and ugly guy for a "model". I hope the shoes do well despite me!

Meditation 4 Madmen on Born-Free-now with subtitles!
Dan is an old friend and has been doing some great video work recently. He does this because he loves it and finds people that have a story to tell about things they are passionate about.
Mike and I spent two days with him talking about Born-Free and riding our Panheads and this is what he made of it.
Click the CC icon on the video to add subtitles in many languages!!!

The Nash's AARP run
The Nash somehow conned some of us into packing up and going on an overnight ride out to Pappi & Harritte's in Joshua Tree. About 10 of us wound up on the "scenic route" which was roughly 300 miles from Orange County, normally about 100 miles?
I had never been on any of the roads we took so it was fun for me. Through Julian (stopped for pie), to Boreggo Springs which was the one mistake of the trip (over 100 degrees!), to Idyllwild, to Joshua tree. Took us 12 leasurely hours.
Had a blast riding the '37 UL, it was a champ! It just doesn't like headwinds.
Felt good to get out and put a bunch of tanks of gas through a motorcycle!
