Some things you might need...
-Bates TT seat. No holes on tops or sides. Just two tiny wear-through spots on base of the pan, where it wraps underneath. Excellent patuna. I have more pictures if you need them.
-'Nanner tank in bare metal and without dents. SOLD
-Nutso original J-slot aircleaner that could also be used to steer your ship in a bind.
-Bezeled glass hansome marker light that'll make a nice little headlight SOLD
-Friendly lion light that'd be a fun tail light
-VL riser that slides into the rear legs of the forks, allowing you to run Flanders risers. Really nicely made piece
Here's another picture of the seat.

Cannonball!
Sure sounds like a fun adventure to be a rider on the Motorcycle Cannonball Run. This year there are a few friends/acquaintances riding on it and i have to admit i am jealous. Good luck Matt Olsen, Jeff Decker, Sean Dugan, and Mike Vils!
Maybe i just need a riding vacation...

Smokey
The last two days I spent helping Smokey swap the motor and Trans in his 48 gmc panel truck. He has about 800,000 miles on this and has owned it for 40 years. He told me I am the only one besides him to ever work on it since he owned it.
He had a tired old 327 and a power glide in it and we put in a '92 TBI sbc and 4l80 Trans. He's going efi as well.
Smokey is one of te sharpest old guys I know. He raced Indians for many years and still builds crazy Indian race motors. People abuse the word hero these days, but this guy is one. Thanks for all you've taught me smokey.

Road trip
Day 1 my kid brother and I are taking a slow drive to sturgis. Both of my bikes didn't want to go so we are eastbound and down loaded up and trucking. First stop at the world famous Love Cycles. Then dinner at the original pinnacle peaks in Scottsdale. One of the best steaks I ever had. Big Marv has been flipping steaks here for the past 51years. That's about 12 million steaks!
