completely CHOPPED
maybe you've seen this, maybe not-its all over that hamb. I've seen it a bunch in old mags like car craft and cycle world/cycle guide, choppers. but here it is in color. Larry Gormans Knucklehead with a Larry Watson Paintjob and a more than likely Bill DeCarr molding. Ripple Pipe. VL forks. Raked. Insanity. Can you imagine walking into Watson shop with your knucklehead "Hey Larry, i got this idea..."

one step forward...
Two steps back...
Got my new FMA #3W Apes on the shovelhead just in time for one of my exhaust valves to finally say "no more"...d'oh! These bars are the first set of FMA bars that are another inch taller, little more pullback than the regular FMA #2 bars...but these are also a little wider in the clamp area to fit my 1949 Panhead triple trees...

kustom paint
Lime Gold Metalflake Busonic By Larry Watson. Its restored to its first rootbeer version now, but was found a lot like this. The Roulette whell center consol was my favorite part.
dig the big Carter poster hanging in the background. Bill told me that at shows like these, Watson would have his area with his cars and then he would have the other side.

1969 XLH Sportster Chopper for sale
Gotta pay bills. This is OG boys and girls. The Sporty was built back in the day with a gooseneck front and rigid rear, extended early 33.4 frontend, 18 and 16" wheels, mini drum used as a spool, comfy ol' two-up seat, frisco mount sporty tank, all the great old goods. This picture is from the early 1980's when it was still in it's prime. It's not too far off this, but shows a little age, but that's what's kinda cool about it. It has a current CA title, runs, but it is electric start only and the starter is bunk, needs some attention. I have a new V-twin kick start kit available if you so desire. email grant@getchoppedout.com to buy. Will ship world wide.

Parts for sale
Got some parts on the chopping block...email grant@getchoppedout.com to buy.
Panhead Adjustable sidecar 41mm wideglide triple trees. Old chrome.
Ok, this narrow wideglide setup came off a panhead that used to run around in SoCal (no kidding). Old narrow aftermarket 41mm triple trees from the '70s that also has an axle and 21" spool wheel complete with ribbed hub. It is all dirty, as found, but you can see it might clean up alright. I am selling just the trees, wheel, and axle. All or separate. This is shown with my tubes and lowers, add your own.
Crazy Frank fender. Yep, one of those. just sand blasted and given a coat of high build primer. (sale pending)

PSSSSSSSSST! Saturday May 7th...bike night at the Garage CO in LA!
We love working with Yoshi and crew at the Garage Company in LA! It has been a fruitful relationship thus far bringing the Born-Free crowd into Yoshi's world and visa-versa.
Well, we have another shindig planned at the Garage Company Saturday May 7 from 3-9pm. Ride out. We'll be giving away a Bear Parts CO seat and P-Pad combo to one lucky Born-Free poster/ticket buyer of two or more...

Period
This Bitchin 48 pan with the choice flanders setup was part of a cargofleet of bikes with Arizona plates that I saw near my school on a lunch break. Must've been headed for export, no sign of them at the swap.

handleBAR-bie's playhouse
Well, I really like to go apehangin around and was happy to pick up these 16"s and Grant was ecqually stoked to swap on some oem glide risers so he could install our latest product, the narrow handlebars everyone has come to know and love but now for wide-glides! There is a rack of countless handlebars up in the garage that I have run and I love my new bars but the apes sure aint good for splitting lanes. . .
