I have a 1966 Shovelhead project for sale. I was building it as if a guy had the old Gen Shovel and didn't want to buy a new bike back in the late 70s/early 80s so he just upgraded his. It is a project but a good one if you like the following:
Stock '66 swing arm frame with brand new high gloss black powdercoating
A pretty original motor that ran when i pulled the bike apart, super E carb
4-speed trans
Enclosed belt drive
Choice of stock early E. start primary setup or modified inner and custom aluminum outer for kick only
dual disc 35mm frontend with calipers, rotors, lines, and controls
round swingarm with a disc setup
near NOS early FXR mag wheels with NOS white letter Goodyear tires, 19" and 16"
brand new steel repro early sporty tank
Late '70s/'80s FXB shovel seat
Early Superglide rear fender...probably more but that's all i can think of now.
The bike is pretty much apart as i type this, had it sold and that fell through and i would rather work on my UL than this, but i will be putting this together in the meantime. It should be a roller soon with the freshly powdercoated frame. The more i work on it the more money i will ask. Here are some pics to give you an idea of what i was building. Sorry the one is so bad of the last time it was all together, it was a pic taken of a pic on my old phone...
No title as of yet, but once it is a roller i can get it done easy for $140 legitimately. Will ship worldwide and can drop off at shippers in Carson, CA.
email grant@getchoppedout.com to buy or you can come see everything in Orange, CA at the Cycle Lodge.
