May the Force be with You

Caught the late showing of the new Star Wars film last night with some of my amigos.  Episode VII delivered just about all you could want from a continuation of the Star Wars line and makes one easily forget about those new ones that wait, what was I talking about?  Oh yeah, this was great.

RIP PIZZ memorial services

Pizz and I go way back.  He took me under his wing and showed me the ropes of this kustom kulture world 16 years ago.  Needless to say I was very stoked to have Pizz do artwork for our business-making me into an Ed Roth monster on my bike and adapting his version of FMA into our main logo.  (In case you never got the joke, it was just AMF backwards-hahah).  The Pizz has left this world, and taken some color with him.  This Saturday there will be sevaral memorials for the lord of Lowbrow.

see you there

may the 4th be with you

here are some older shots from the amazing Star Wars exhibit from 2013 at the
Cult of Saturn Cube, I mean discovery Science Center in Santa Ana.
Excuse the poor quality of my old iphone.
This was a very exciting day, Just to see all the props in real life, such a treat.  I built most of the models and had the toys but the details in the actual pieces was incredible.  My young naivete in the 80's allowed me to think that all the spaceships and the walkers were real working machines.  HAHA but i guess that a testament to how well these were made and without cgi.

Blown Magna Cycle

this machine showed up at David Mann last year.  Far out little survivor.
You could buy these kits for sportsters from Jerry Magnuson in Santa Ana back in the 70's.
Magnuson had a little company that was called MPD-more famous for its primary covers.

sturgis road trip 2014

last summer I had a great little trip to Sturgis with Andy Carter from Pangea Speed.  Especially nice was winning the Street Chopper/Hot Bike Winner Take All Show!  Meeting lots of great people, partying, and seeing what is left of America is what this is all about.  Finally getting around to loading some pictures.
