There are two photo links at the bottom with more pictures.

Here's the scoop:
Nice 49 Chevy pickup 3100 Advanced Design Series All lights and gauges converted to 12v. except the heater fan motor. Truck runs excellent and is completely reliable. Minimal surface rust with classic patina. Typical 62 year old wear on the body. The suspension has had a complete going over mechanically.

Except as noted below, all items on the truck are original or close to it. I have tried to keep what was original and serviceable, replacing only as needed.

Rear end and brakes from:

1991 Blazer, 4dr, V6, Auto, 4wd.

Rear Axle Seals: Part # for crossing either CR57 26010792 or SKF 14002

Transmission: 4 speed. SaginawTrans code 441 with Hurst Indy Shifter, the stick however is hand fabricated.

Motor: 1962-67 Chev 194 ci. With alternator.

"Clifford" valve cover and "Clifford" lifter valley side covers.

New "Classic Performance Products" master Cylinder, new front disc brakes, and proportioning valve.

New rear brakes and drums.

All suspension parts have been rebuilt or replaced.

The radiator is new.

All original wiring has been replaced and wired following the original wiring diagrams, all 12v. except the heater motor.

New Horns.
New heater switch.
New rear tail lights and brackets.
Turn signal switch assembly has been added.

The quad gauge has been rebuilt and the speedometer has been refurbished, both with new chrome bezels and gaskets.

The windshield washer motor (vacuum) has been rebuilt and working. The grommets on the motor linkage are new.

The side glass is new with gaskets, new door glass channels, and outer rubber seals. The front windshield halves are original with '49 date code, the gasket is new, the drivers side glass has wiper marks but no deep scratches. The rear window is original with '49 date code, it has a crack in the upper right corner.

The window regulators have been refurbished, the door linkages are new.

New interior door panels and molding, new striker plates, new handle hardware.

The bench seat has new upholstery.

The interior has been cleaned up and painted, no headliner though.

The cowl vent is working with new gasket and cowl vent drain hose.

The heater motor is original 6v. with a new heater switch.

The heater core has been rebuilt, hasn't been hooked up yet.

The heater control has been rebuilt (Classic Parts of America).

There is no radio, and have not locateed a "radio delete" plate.

The body sheet metal is, as far as I can tell, original, it does have typical dings and dents found on any 62 year old vehicle, with very little rust or rot. Mostly surface "patina" the truck has been painted sometime in the past a green metallic.

The wheels are painted steel, w/beauty rings, and baby moons, tires are P215/75R15.

New headlight bezels.

The bed has not been addressed; it is the original wood which needs to be replaced. It has two, appx. 1/8" steel plates, loosely in place for the floor.

The truck has basically had all the things updated for those who want a truck like this to actually drive in today's traffic! The disc brakes up front, open drive in the rear with better drum brakes and rearend ratio. all the suspension is fresh and the later inline 6 cylinder will purr for years
