rock and roll

After Vagrant Vinny fizzeled out i had been talking with Jason Hampton about getting together and playing some loud and heavy stuff since his last band Revolution Mother went their separate ways. We would talk about it at the swapmeet and jammed with some other people then finally came together along with Jason's long time friend and drummer Barry Fader. Jason is singing and playing the guit axe and i'm on bass, just a three piece.
So was born the Beautiful Buzzards. We have been playing together since the first of the year and are about ready for some shows one of which will be the after party for Born-Free at Alex's Bar in Long Beach on June 12th. We also recorded a few songs the other week that you can download for free HERE on the Beautiful Buzzards blog

New Tires, New Tank, New Santee Oil Tank, New Battery, New Chain, New Pipes, New Brake, New Spool Hub, New Carb New...well you get the idea. There are Zero Miles on it.
If you do not see it in the photos, I have it all in a box. And if you dont like that fender there is a NOS Ness one that goes with it. No bluetag either.

Hey!

There are 25 days left until Born-Free 2! Get your act together and your bike and don't forget to enter to win the Born-Free Panhead! It's an OG bike with a lot of great parts that come with a California title, AKA the real deal. Must be present to win dudes and dudettes!
The bike is basically back together thanks to Josh busting his butt and it's looking GOOD! Poon hammered out the new paint on the tank as well.
We'll have it at the Long Beach swap this weekend so you can touch, feel, drool over, and sit on. Space E13 in the back.

The dishes are done, man.

Even though i kinda finished my shovel in late january, it sat in the garage under a sheet until i could get back to it and really finish it like get it running and ridable again since it was all show and no for the GNRS due to running out of time. Now the time has come, rode it for the first time again on friday. Look for it in the next issue of Street Chopper in July.
Mike D, get ready for the chicken run!

Ok, so here is an extended and flipped out Early BSA girder. All the parts are there though to make it back to stock length. Or leave it as is to make a sweet early British chopper of Crazyiness. I think the neck is smaller than 7/8ths

parts update

We are finally moving forward with getting the NOISE velocity stacks made. We'll have them for S&S Super E AND we are making them for S&S L and B Series carbs too! Give us about another week and we should have at least some unpolished/unchromed pieces.
Also, i have been super lagging on getting the gas caps and bungs and enrichener knobs in the store for easy ordering, but have been selling them if you email me at grant.peterson@sorc.com. Hoping to have them in the store in a few days.

Farewell to a King

Thank you Mr. Frazetta for your contribution to our world, and to the artist within. You have inspired me from the moment I got a concussion after seeing your work for the first time. I'm sure you will be missed by those who knew you, but I know your legacy will be enjoyed for many moons to come. I wish you eternal health, wealth, magic, and all the goddesses you so desire during your rest in the valley of Asgard.

C-O-T-W
